Washingtonians Encouraged to Obtain Flood Insurance

The amount of vegetation destroyed by wildfires in eastern and central Washington has resulted in an increased flash flood risk, and residents within affected areas are being urged by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to obtain flood insurance in order to protect their homes from loss.
