Credit Unions Help Immigrants Find Their Footing

The National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions gave grants to two credit unions to fund an immigrant asset-building initiative. The sustainable project involves keeping a "pool of money that is loaned, paid back and loaned again" and has already made a huge difference in the lives of immigrants. [9/29/14]
